About my ratings

Perhaps because of my day job, I'm a tough rater. Everything 3/5 and above I consider worth the time and money. If I purchase on Etsy or a similar platform and the puzzle is as expected, I will give a top rating on the platform because of how seller ratings work, but here "as expected" is probably a 3/5 in most cases.

Skeleton and Roses

Liberty, approx. 500. Liberty is being pushed by competition in some great ways, I think. Some color line cutting, some interesting multipiece figures, and an irregular border make this a particularly challenging and fun image. 4/5

Fun at the Fair

Anthology, 160 pieces. Cute--I liked the ticket shape. 3/5

Starry Starry Knight

Stave, 75 pieces. What a delightful image! This is a two-sword Teaser but there's enough challenge to make it interesting. 6/10 Stave scale

Aaron Wolf, Library of Spells and Sorcery

Artifact/Ecru, 537 pieces. A lot going on in this image, with smaller Ecru pieces and lots of details that didn't cross many pieces, so it took a while to assemble. Next set of pictures will be taken with new, working camera.  3/5

Eastern Women, Auguste Macke

Liberty, 502 pieces. My camera was starting to die, so the pictures are blurry, but it's a nice image with some color variation. A couple of the multi-piece images seemed to depart from standard Liberty by having some intrusions/extrusions into connectors outside the image--something a bit like what Nautilus often does, but also different. A good addition to the roster! 3/5

On Point!

Stave, 175 pieces. I love this series, with the not quite dropouts (sometimes there, sometimes not) and the varying colors across pieces. 8/10
