About my ratings

Perhaps because of my day job, I'm a tough rater. Everything 3/5 and above I consider worth the time and money. If I purchase on Etsy or a similar platform and the puzzle is as expected, I will give a top rating on the platform because of how seller ratings work, but here "as expected" is probably a 3/5 in most cases.

Poofy Guy on a Short Leash

Stave, 300 pieces. Incredible border/dropout work on this one, plus lots of flight-related whimsies. 7/10

A Frog He Would a-Wooing Go and Puss in Boots

Liberty, 494 pieces. Very charming dual puzzle with great multipiece frog and cat whimsies. 3/5

Iwona Lifsches, Jazzy Night

Artifact, 405 pieces. It seems appropriate that my spreadsheet tells me this is the 400th Artifact puzzle club puzzle I've done. It's a very typical Artifact, with rectangular pieces and some areas of high detail and others far more subtle shifting colors. 3/5

A 3D apartment building that I didn't assemble

Australia, Alexey Erofalov

Boardwalk, 318 pieces. I like the new Boardwalk thickness a lot, and this was a nice image. 3/5

Australian wildlife

Mont Saint-Michel

Liberty, 485 pieces. Classic Liberty cut with a lot of small details--the red being scattered throughout the image was the biggest challenge. 3/5

London Fair

The Continuing Puzzles of Bungalow Bill, 325 pieces. This hand-cut puzzle has more push-fit than I usually like, but the payoff is the excellent color line cutting. 3/5

Heart of the Sea

Kinmo, 302 pieces. I like the design, which features a very decorated edge. The wood is thinner than my absolute favorite for laser-cut, but not the thinnest (more like new Wentworth). 3/5
