About my ratings

Perhaps because of my day job, I'm a tough rater. Everything 3/5 and above I consider worth the time and money. If I purchase on Etsy or a similar platform and the puzzle is as expected, I will give a top rating on the platform because of how seller ratings work, but here "as expected" is probably a 3/5 in most cases.

Cheryl Johnson, Bay State

Stave, 65 pieces. One-sword teaser, though seemed a bit harder to me. I would love to collect all 50 of these (I don't think they've made all 50) but would not likely be brave enough to mix them up all together as with the letters and numbers. 7/10 points for affection for my institution and part-time state.

Turtle Beach, Howard Robinson

Nautilus, 475 pieces. A more conventional Nautilus cut with lots of aquatic whimsies and bright colors. 3/5

Denver Cityscape, Brad Gorman

Liberty, 469 pieces. I really like the colors on this one and the slightly unusual proportions. 4/5

Kawase Hasui Fall

Artifact Ecru, 135 pieces. Cute little puzzle with fall colors that obscure the cuts. 3/5

Orange You Something!

Stave, 85 pieces. Two-heart treat--if you don't find this embedding of animals uncanny, it is great fun. 6/10 Stave scale.

Patchwork-Birds, Ditz

Liberty, 562 pieces. Some beautiful multipiece feathers in this one, and challenging assembly because of all the things going on in the image. 4/5

I Knew an Old Lady, Leslie Alison Murray

Shay's Puzzle Workshop, 120 pieces. I love the concept and the embedded whimsies! Charming hand-cut puzzle. 4/5
