About my ratings

Perhaps because of my day job, I'm a tough rater. Everything 3/5 and above I consider worth the time and money. If I purchase on Etsy or a similar platform and the puzzle is as expected, I will give a top rating on the platform because of how seller ratings work, but here "as expected" is probably a 3/5 in most cases.

Audubon, Carolina Parakeets, Artifact

422 pieces.  Bird-feet connectors.  A well-done Artifact puzzle with some nice bird shapes and good colors.  4/5

Fireworks, Stibbett Studio

300 pieces.  Did this on Halloween between trick or treaters, so not at the usual puzzling table, which added a bit of challenge.  Small pieces, nice hand feel; not quite as difficult as the sunflower though it did take work.  Again, a very nice puzzle that would make a nice hostess gift (or souvenir for those visiting/from Washington state).  4/5

The New World, 1507, Optimago

800 pieces.  Unusual shape, plus the, let's say, impressionistic shape of the continents made this a fun one.  4/5

Casting Spells, Wentworth

274 pieces. Cute design: skulls, pumpkins, and bats. Relatively easy to do though because of the different images through the puzzle.  3/5

Puzzlemonk, Drawing Hands

162 pieces. Black and white, intricate cuts, and Escher design: a true pleasure even at this small size. 5/5

Neverending Stories, Wentworth

By Colin Thompson, 1000 pieces.  I love this picture--this is my third puzzle with it, though one was only cardboard.  1000 pieces is pretty much the maximum I can do for Wentworth because the sheer space required to manipulate all the pieces gets uncomfortably big for me, but I enjoyed putting this together.  Also, are Wentworths adding more multi-piece whimsies, or am I just noticing more? 5/5
