About my ratings

Perhaps because of my day job, I'm a tough rater. Everything 3/5 and above I consider worth the time and money. If I purchase on Etsy or a similar platform and the puzzle is as expected, I will give a top rating on the platform because of how seller ratings work, but here "as expected" is probably a 3/5 in most cases.

Mystic Memories

Stave, 435 pieces. Lovely stuff on the sky here is the standout. 7/10

blowin' in the wind

rebus: bee+Z hare+boar

Kristian Adam, Chippy

Artifact, 179 pieces. Another small puzzle with a tiny bit of difficulty from the details crammed onto the pieces. Notably nice border! 3/5

Gordon Barker, Summer Beach

Artifact, 171 pieces. Colorful, simple. 3/5

Hanukkah Evening, Anna Ivanir

Liberty, 474 pieces. A fun addition to the Judaica collection, with lots of bright colors. I didn't try to put together the 3D dreidel; it seemed like the same one as the other one Liberty makes. 4/5

overlapping whimsy/image placement

Little Shoppers

Stave, 495 pieces. The standout here is the top edge, taken from bits of the puzzle image and rearranged. Otherwise, lots of detail in the image to look at! 7/10

kitty repeated on top; Coke machine with Coke whimsies inside

Oh, The Places You'll Go!, Dr. Seuss

Liberty, 499 pieces. Having the title and author as whimsies is very cute, though I think it would also have been very cute to have a bunch more Seussian whimsies. The big field of green means that you're relying on shape a lot to assemble; fortunately you can do that with wooden puzzles and enjoy it (if that's the kind of thing that you enjoy, which I do). Would likely make a nice variation on the standard graduation gift. 4/5

whimsy sort of matching figure

Colorful Winter City

Elms, 323 pieces. What it says on the tin! Steady assembly. Even the top has color variations that emerge once the rest of the puzzle is in place. 6/10
