About my ratings

Perhaps because of my day job, I'm a tough rater. Everything 3/5 and above I consider worth the time and money. If I purchase on Etsy or a similar platform and the puzzle is as expected, I will give a top rating on the platform because of how seller ratings work, but here "as expected" is probably a 3/5 in most cases.

Strings and Ivory, Andy Reich

Whimsy Wood Puzzles, 409 pieces. Unusual whimsy construction that I generally like a lot, though it has issues with creating extra small and extra big pieces. This one's themes are unsurprisingly musical. I like how there are partial whimsies or whimsies that also have connectors; it seems interestingly organic.  Stumpcraft does some similar things, but these are a bit more flowing in lines through the puzzle/have less variation in terms of unusual connectors.  A nice variant for Liberty fans.  3/5
